The one thing most comparisons get wrong
Watt-hours and watts are not the same specification, and here they point in opposite directions.
Watt-hours (Wh) = how long. The S2000 stores 2,010Wh against the C1000’s 1,024Wh — roughly double the energy, so roughly double the runtime on the same load.
Watts (W) = what it can run at once. Here the smaller unit wins: the C1000 is rated 2,000W with a 3,000W peak, while the S2000 is rated 1,500W. If an appliance needs more than 1,500W to start, the cheaper C1000 is the one more likely to handle it.
