What’s different about Prime Day 2026
- It’s in June, not July. Amazon moved the event to June 23–26 to avoid the FIFA World Cup and the July 4th (250th anniversary) week. If you were planning a “buy in July” strategy — move it up.
- Four full days. Like 2025, the event runs 96 hours. Lightning deals rotate constantly — the best solar discounts often appear on day 1 and day 3.
- Prime members only. A 30-day free trial started before June 23 covers the whole event.

Prime Day FAQ
- When is Amazon Prime Day 2026?
- June 23–26, 2026 — four days, starting 12:01 a.m. PDT on June 23. Amazon moved it earlier than the usual July window to avoid the FIFA World Cup and July 4th week.
- Do solar kits actually go on sale during Prime Day?
- Yes. Microinverters, complete balcony kits and accessories regularly see 15–30% discounts, often as rotating lightning deals. EcoFlow and Anker historically run their deepest non-Black-Friday discounts during Prime events.
- Do I need Prime membership for the deals?
- Yes — Prime Day pricing is members-only. A 30-day free trial started before June 23 covers the entire event.
- Buy now or wait for Prime Day?
- It’s less than two weeks away — waiting is low-risk. Exception: if a kit is already at its lowest tracked price or showing low stock, popular models can sell out before the event even starts.
