Installation basics

Most kits are set up without an electrician, but safety matters.

1. Mount securely with the brackets for your railing, wall or a stand. Angle toward the sun and make sure wind can't tear it loose.

2. Connect the microinverter to the panel and route the cable to your outlet, keeping connections off the ground and dry.

3. Plug into a dedicated GFCI outlet — no extension cords or strips. The microinverter detects the grid and starts automatically.

Do's & don'ts: confirm UL-listing/UL 3700 pathway, stay within your kit's and utility's wattage, don't open the microinverter, and don't put it on a roof — that's a different, regulated job.

Always confirm current local rules with your utility before buying or installing.
